Announcing auditions for another production from Uptown Staged (and UTCA's first musical) Team Starkid’s The Trail to Oregon directed by Nick Abounader!

Trail to Oregon is an original musical parody of the video game “The Oregon Trail” that we all know and love! Audience participation is key as a family of five struggles along the train to find their new life, struggle through adventures and dangers (mostly self imposed) along the way!

Auditions will take place on Sunday, April 28th and Monday April 29th at 7:30pm in the lobby of the Uptown Theatre.

Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 20th, 21st and 22nd at 7:30pm and Sunday June 23rd at 2:00pm,also in the lobby at The Uptown.

We are looking for between 6 and 10 actors, depending on who comes out and how everyone fits together! To audition prepare any song from any Team Starkid musical (A Very Potter Musical, Twisted, Firebringer, Trail to Oregon itself, etc.) and be ready for cold readings from the script (or lukewarm ones if you do your research and read up/watch it on YouTube before you pop over!) Bring a resume and headshot if you have one, if not then bring your brain and your face; we can probably fill in the blanks from there.
